I have papers too. Logos and stamps.
But this CV is intentionally incomplete, and it will stay that way.
I have deliberately left out the list of big Western institutions that have lined my path, the prizes I’ve won, the fancy residencies I’ve done there, the grants I’ve received. I don’t want to reinforce them, and I don’t want to advertise them. This Western economy of labels, name-dropping, and mutual validation is a closed loop I refuse to feed.
In 2025 I realized something else:
I am not interested in political art — at least not in the way it is practiced and instrumentalized today.
What I have always known is this:
I believe in small scale, and I am drawn to art that is sharp:
art that cuts, that risks, that does not compromise.
Art that is a weapon, both legal and free.
And I am allowed to use it.
